BIO
My academic years were marked by arts and guitar studies in college, where I devoted a large part of my time to composing with my group and producing shows.
At Université de Montréal, after a few courses in communication, I completed a minor in film studies. In 2001, I obtained my bachelor's degree in film production from Concordia University.
Since then, I have worked for over 20 years as an editor and director, participating in numerous projects, both in documentary television and fiction. I have had the chance to produce several biographies dedicated to personalities such as Daniel Boucher, Marie Carmen, Jean-Pierre Ferland, Beau Dommage, Yvon Deschamps and Céline Dion.
In 2005, I was assistant director on the series Les 4 coins broadcast on Radio-Canada, an enriching experience where I had the opportunity to direct an episode. I have also directed and edited music videos for Catherine Durand, Karkwa, Mélisande [electrotrad], Nanette Workman, Samian and Loco Locass. For the web, I directed the first season of the web series Père Poule by Jean-Thomas Jobin (2009).
Filming also took me to Europe, notably for the show BD cités on Évasion (2006) and to Paris for the special dedicated to Céline Dion (2008). As soon as I arrived at Radio-Canada in 2010, I had the opportunity to travel the roads of Acadia, producing dozens of public affairs reports, special programs, as well as the magazine L’Étéjournal (2011).
More recently, I conceptualized, edited and directed more than 500 commercials for channels such as Télétoon, Historia, Disney and Séries+. My career also includes active involvement in several actor-directing workshops, notably with Danielle Fichaud, Jean-Pierre Lefebvre and Robert Favreau.
Through my work, I like to raise awareness with rigor and kindness or to poetically embellish the universe that surrounds us.
